‘The Virgin’ – 40m Direct-Conversion Receiver

The Virgin is a Direct-Conversion receiver for the 40m band, completed in February 2016. The unit is rock-bound, with no ability to change frequency other than changing out the crystal in the oscillator. This was the first receiver I’ve built, over the course of about December 2015-February 2016.
